What documentation do I need to bring?
Guests arriving at
embarkation without proper
documentation may not join the
voyage and will NOT
be entitled to a refund.
U.S. citizens taking “closed-loop” cruises are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a certificate of naturalization, a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license (EDL) as well as a government-issued photo ID. Children are also required to bring proof of citizenship, and if 16 and over, a photo ID is also required.
Although a passport is not required for U.S. citizens taking “closed loop” cruises, we strongly recommend all guests travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel). Having a passport will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to a foreign port in the event they miss their scheduled embarkation or to fly back to the U.S. if they need to disembark the ship mid-cruise due to an emergency.
Foreign nationals should contact their respective governments to obtain further details. For more information or to obtain a passport application, visit www.travel.state.gov or call the National Passport Information Center toll free at 1-877-487-2778.
What to pack?
On the first day...
For the first day of your cruise, pack a small carry-on bag with your travel documents, a change of clothes, bathing suit, workout clothes, and any medications you may need. That way you don't have to wait for your checked bags to arrive in your stateroom.
Shorts, t-shirts, slacks, trousers, casual skirts, blouses and sundresses are all perfect during the day, whether indoors or out.
For lounging by the pool, pack two bathing suits (an extra suit in case the other is wet) and a pair of casual shoes (e.g., flip-flops, sandals, sneakers). You'll also need some casual shorts and a couple of t-shirts or a cover-up for getting to and from the pool areas.
If you're planning to visit our onboard fitness center, be sure to bring extra shorts, t-shirts and socks that you won't mind working out in - plus a pair of tennis or running shoes/sneakers.
There are two distinct types of evenings onboard: casual, smart casual and formal.
Suggested guidelines for these nights are:
|5 Smart Casual And Above Nights: Pants with polo or sweater for men; skirt of pants with sweater or blouse for women.|
|2 Formal Nights: Tuxedo, suit or dinner jacket for men; cocktail dress, gown, or dress pantsuit for women|
Remember, shorts, T-shirts, and bathing suits are not considered appropriate attire in the dining rooms at dinner. Casual dress dining is available nightly in the Windjammer Cafe. And be aware you'll also need smart casual attire for some of the specialty restaurants.
What not to pack?
For the safely of our guests, the following items are not allowed onboard and will be confiscated upon being found: Electrical Transformers, Coffee Makers, Candles, Irons, Illegal Drugs, Flammable Liquids and Explosives, such as fireworks. For security purposes, we also recommend not packing any valuables (such as jewelry) in your checked luggage.
What activities are available for children and teens?
There's no better way
to excite every member of your
family than with a Celebrity
cruise vacation. We offer a e
variety of activities onboard.
Youth Activities are directed and organized by a special staff of youth counselors. Youth Counselors have a formal education in Recreation, Education, Child Development or related fields. In addition Youth Counselors have experience working with large groups of children ages 3-17 years of age, in school/community sponsored youth programs or summer camps. Youth Counselors hold certifications in CPR and some speak Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.

A physician's "Fit to Travel" note is required prior to sailing, stating how far along (in weeks) your pregnancy will be at the beginning of the cruise and confirming that you are in good health and not experiencing a high-risk pregnancy.
